SWOT Analysis - Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats for YELP Holistic First Business Plan

Strengths   Weaknesses

1.    YELP Holistic First Business Plan:

a)    is in accord with NHMRC's "Meeting Tomorrow’s Health Challenges".

b)    prepared by early retiree Commonwealth Bank 'Infrastructure Banker' with a lifetime in voluntary sports administration who has -

i)      completed Arduous Endurance Sporting Events (incl 2 IronMan triathlons); and

ii)     a thorough understanding of Australia's liability laws re inviting members of the public to participate in a Recreational Activity which involves the Three Types Of Risks and how to mitigate liability for Serious Sporting Accidents and the incidence of Serious Sporting Accidents.

c)    applies a robust Adverse Effect And Cause Logic to understand the Causes of the Fifteen Problems which include the Taskforce's Three Public Health Risks in order to identify which of the Causes are able to be treated.

d)    developed using the transparent Project Development planning, process, structure disciplines employed by investment banks, such as Macquarie Bank and Investec, to attract debt providers and equity investors for new +$1b Greenfield infrastructure projects

e)    provided on CD ROM with over 2,000 URLs to more than 350 Defined Terms and 30+ Section Titles which ensure clarity/brevity to analyse statements made therein

f)     compared to even a few years ago, due to Climate Change, Government is now more receptive to seeking to Materially Alter Lifestyle to reduce the Fifteen Problems, which include the Taskforce's Three Public Health Risks.

g)    detailed Prototype which Interested Parties are invited to comment on in writing for the Business Plan Developer to redraft to produce the Interested Parties Agreed Business Plan.

h)    Forecasts Return On YELP Capex is tenfold within five years to be quantified by testing the Hypothesis during the Pilot .

i)     Youthful Exuberance Theme is a catchphrase which will instil confidence within Interested Adults that they are capable of incorporating outdoor exercising in their Lifestyle Behaviour in the same way as -

        *     those profiled in RTV Promotion; and

        *     they joyfully explored the great outdoors with childhood mates years ago.

j)      The Pilot harnesses +900 Existing LDREGs across 15 Recreational Exercise Activities.

k)     Harvest a Critical Mass of 5,200 new Participants in the Pilot Sample during the 21½ Months Tenure Of Pilot deploying Twelve Low Cost Propagation Initiatives to Propagate the Pilot to achieve the Propagation Forecasts And Targets.

l)     10 Months Tenure Of Primary Research Programme to test 50 Volunteers will use a Health Assessment Appointment and 4 Hypothesis Test Reports to quantify the Economic Return On YELP Capex and impact on Cashflow on Australia's Human Brownfield Infrastructure from Propagating YELP.

m)   recognises Exceptional Community Contributions at an Annual Presentation Awards Dinner in each state capital.

n)    Primary Research Programme includes definitive Challenging goals, namely Two Legendary Endurance Cycling Challenges, which are materially easier, with much lower possibility of RSI training injuries, than Boston Marathon Challenge which is a valuable template for YELP.

o)   Results from Boston Marathon Challenge renders most outcomes in the First Business Plan predictable, in particular achieving forecasts in the Primary Research Programme.

p)   Capture Complimentary Synergies through an SPV involving the interdependent agencies of Health & Ageing, Environment, Heritage and the Arts or Dept of Climate Change DIISR and RET - due to some overlap in their respective charters - jointly working as Four Public Sector Equity Holders with cooperative action under a JV  PPP with 12 Private Sector Equity Holders for the Two Purposes of the YELP  SPV which will realise additional benefits due to the Project Development Expertise of the 12 Private Sector Equity Holders from working on major infrastructure projects.

q)   has Four Project Development Phases

r)   under the 50/50 Funding Model, Four Benefits To 12 Proposed Private Sector Equity Holders explains why 12 Private Sector Equity Holders would contribute half of YELP's Budget being $9,663,933 with spin-off benefit of complimentary Employee enthusiasm.  Hence, the fiscal burden for YELP of $9,663,933 represents only 4% of the fiscal burden ($250m~) forecast by Tony Abbott in late Aug 2007, because the other 4% would be born by 12 Private Sector Equity Holders.

Due to the Adverse Effect And Cause Logic applied it takes a while to 'get into' the Solution section of the Business Plan, namely YELP However, understanding the Causes of the Fifteen Problems, which include the Taskforce's Three Public Health Risks, is integral to reducing the cost of them.

Opportunities

Threats

1.    Comply with the IPCC edict (that a "shift in lifestyles" is required to mitigate Climate Change) in a highly cost-effective manner by delivering YELP via an SPV under a PPP structure comprising -

   *      Two Major & Two Minor Public Sector Equity Holders which both have the same agenda (decreed by IPCC and the high cost of the Other Fourteen Problems); and

   *      12 Private Sector Equity Holders being drawn from major Australian companies which bring required skills and/or particular enthusiasm to the YELP Pilot,

would share risk and return for a Project Development venture enabling substantive economies due to -

        *       assigning responsibility to the party best able to manage it; and

   *       greater opportunities for innovation and creativity to Capture Complimentary Synergies.

2.    Two of the benefits to the 12 Private Sector Equity Holders are:

        I.          Enhanced Brand Name; and

II.         economic value of Intellectual Property within Return On YELP Capex Software.

3.     Deploy the Youthful Exuberance Theme to package "regular exercise" at two levels (rigorous and moderate) with a LCCBSG and a Social Theme, to appeal to the masses because REA Is Fun & Addictive.

4.    Utilises the substantive green economies attainable from e-Learning, e-Training and e-Research Techniques on the Internet to materially reduce data dissemination, collection and analysis costs for the Pilot, Propagation and Product phases:

5.    Materially cost-effectively assist Health & Ageing's  Lifescripts Five Basic ‘Stages of Change’ by GPs Outsourcing interested GP's Patients to a REC with Eleven Sports Administration Attributes to Take Charge Of  the Final Three Stages.

6.    Via marketing campaign "Overdose Human Induced Drug Only", pit the benefits of two naturally produce drugs, Adrenaline and Endorphins produced from the Core Product, against the adverse side-effects of several Recreational Drugs Used, to educate Interested Adults to the pros and cons of various Recreational Drugs Used

7.    4th P of Project Development , namely Product, will mitigate the 5th Stage of Change ie. "5.Over time, attempts to maintain the new behaviour occur (maintenance)" by providing Participants further motivation to continue their Recreation Exercise Activity(ies).

8.    Government's earnest commitment to encourage a healthy lifestyle, upon the 4th Product Phase, warrants 'State Health Departments' awarding trophies to male and female, Abled and Disabled, Age Division Winners at each of the 7 State Annual King of the Mountain Challenge Series Finals, as testimony to Government's commitment to encouraging a healthy lifestyle.

9.    Cost-effectively treat the "risk factors" and "protective factors" identified in NSW Department of Health's A New Direction for NSW Department of Health - STRATEGIC PLAN TOWARDS 2010 without the need for collective "strong will and sustained action by (all of) individuals, families, communities and governments".

10.  The 16 Month Budget to cover issuing post- Pilot and post-Primary Research Programme reports, together with conducting the Annual KOM Challenge Series in 4 Australian state capital is less than $3,000,000 is a mere bagatelle, to garner 5,200 new Participants in the Pilot Sample and profile half of the 50 Volunteers in the Primary Research Programme, via RTV Promotion for Propagation across Australia and also to measure the Hypothesis.

11.  Utilises the enormous economies from the Internet to structure 15 different independent sporting activities into 15 interdependent Recreational Exercise Activities able to reduce Eleven (Global) Problems which costs Australia over $1b annually.

12.  25 of the 50 Volunteers being drawn from the Disadvantaged to maximise the extent of Materially Altered Lifestyle in Return On YELP Capex Software to measure Economic Return On YELP Capex in the Base Case Financial Model for fiscal expenditure on YELP to improve productivity of Human Brownfield Infrastructure

13.  Section 3.II.(f) forecasts YELP will presage Government educating Australians to the salient truth that the fiscal purse can no longer afford to treat the effects of negligent Lifestyle Behaviour due to the added health and aged care costs of the Baby Boomer generation amidst a diminishing tax payer pool from GenX and Gen Y, as population downsizing takes prominence.

14.  Section 16(j) explains a vital precedent for YELP, namely a 'Case Study' called Marathon Challenge of 13 interested adults with varying ailments who accepted a Challenging invitation from a team of 'Clinicians', 'Sports Therapists' and a U.S. Public Broadcasting Station to tackle a RREA, namely to run the 42km 2007 Boston Marathon in 9 months.

Rather than merely providing an inspiring 53 min PBS documentary, RTV Promotion of the results of the YELP Pilot and Primary Research Programme in Hilly Rides Challenge will provide a highly cost-effective springboard to Propagate YELP across Australia achieving a further 100,000 new Participants by end-Dec 2014, whereupon the momentum and requisite knowledge to Materially Alter Lifestyle by introducing a Local Community Healthy Lifestyle, via YELP, will largely self-fulfil through the power of the Internet.

15.  16 Months Tenure Of Preparatory Research Programme for the Six Reasons For Preparatory Research Programme involving 150 'Team YELP'  Participants across 5 States and ACT, selected pro rata across the six state capitals and ACT, forming 50 x 3 person teams in small, discrete LCCBSGs to train in a 6 Months Training Schedule progressively commencing at Sheffield Tasmania on 13 August 2011 and concluding on Sun, 9 Dec 2012 in Canberra ACT, to either swim, cycle or run in their states Annual Endurance Triathlon.

16.  Accords with the Prime Minister's Goal To Involve The Private Sector, Facilitate Corporate Social Responsibility And Utilises Golden Gurus

17.  Project "Aussie Green Team" Accreditation will within its 2 year Project Life mobilise 2,100,000 circa Australians (from aged 15 years or older) to submit their Personal Eco-Profile as a Sporting Participant in one of 75,000 circa Australian Sporting Teams, which comprise at least 10 Sporting Participants aged 15 years and older, on a Register of "Aussie Green Sporting Teams in order to be awarded a "Aussie Green Team" Accreditation  thereby providing a powerful mandate for all three tiers of Australian government to make sometimes unpopular decisions, Sociable and Stringent Measures, to reduce the Average Australian's Current Carbon Footprint.

Endeavouring to launch YELP without sourcing experienced seasoned sports administrators who have 'Walked the Talk' and possess all Eleven Sport Administration Attributes and satisfy Accreditation Benchmarks.

The Interested Parties not agreeing a tightly structured Prototype and not executing the Interested Parties Agreed Business Plan contains the Head Consultant's Conditions Precedent To The Pilot
