RET means Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism (RET) which provides advice and policy support to the Australian Government regarding Australia's resources, energy and tourism sectors.  RET develops and delivers policies to increase Australia's international competitiveness, consistent with the principles of environmental responsibility and sustainable development.

The Hon Martin Ferguson AM MP
Minister for Resources, Energy Tourism

GPO Box 1564
Canberra ACT 2601

RET may seem an odd bedfellow with Depart of Health and Ageing, Environment Protection, Heritage and the Arts or Dept of Climate Change and DIISR.  However, due to Climate Change and forecast escalating petrol and aircraft fuels (kerosene) due to increased demand from China, India, Brazil, Russia etc, RET could play an important role in assisting Interested Adults to lead a Local Community Healthy Lifestyle which leaves a small Personal Carbon Footprint, by promoting attractive venues for Annual Challenge Series Competitions in the 4th Product  Phase.
