Defined Terms and Documents      'Aboriginal Teenager Life Skills' RTV Social Inclusion Early Intervention Philanthropic Programme 

Sanctioned Indigenous Team Connector Sessions means:

A.        3 days On-Site Workshops -

            (i)          for the Year 9  Mixed Teams' Tri-Sports Challenge training sessions in each of the Three Mixed Team Sports;

            (ii)         for the Year 10  Mixed Teams' Public Speaking Challenge coaching sessions to learn Public Speaking And Speech Preparation Skills; and

            (iii)        for the Year 11  Mixed Teams' I.T. Geek Challenge instruction sessions in I.T. And Useful Social Media Apps,

            which are sanctioned by one of the Six Regional Township Teams Co-ordinators.

 

            During the 3 days On-Site Workshops by the -

             (i)        2  x  Team Sporting Coaches and 1  x  Sporting Role Model to understand the benefits of Team Bonding for each of the Three Mixed Team Sports in the First RTV Year

             (ii)       2  x  Public Speaking Instructors and 1  x  Sporting Role Model to learn Public Speaking And Speech Preparation Skills in the Second RTV Year

             (iii)      2  x  I.T. Geek Nerds  and 1  x  Sporting Role Model to learn how to use  I.T. And Useful Social Media Apps responsibly in the Third RTV Year,

            the Regional Township Team's assigned Indigenous Local Connector may be required to support the attending Cross Section Of Mentors (from the above noted) at On-Site Workshops for up to 16 hours (equates to 2 Mentor Days) over the 3 Mentor Days - refer for example Challenge Sport Workshop Schedule.

B.        apart from the dedicated 3 days On-Site Workshops, each Indigenous Local Connector would conduct Indigenous Local Connector Training Sessions (from shortly after the start of the next school year say end-Feb to end of the September/October 2027 School Holidays - 35 weeks) for -

            *         up to 6 hours per week in the First RTV Year; and

            *         up to 3 hours per week in each of the Second RTV Year and Third RTV Year.  

 

Each Indigenous Local Connector will be paid at the Indigenous Local Connector Fee Rate for all Sanctioned Indigenous Team Connector Sessions.

The Six Regional Township Teams Co-ordinators may approve a Indigenous Local Connector being remunerated for more than the above hours per week at the Indigenous Local Connector Fee Rate in exceptional circumstances.

A Sanctioned Indigenous Team Connector Sessions requires at least 7 Accepted Year 9 Aboriginal Students present to allow for illness and other pressing commitments impinging attendance.
