Sporting Role Models means current and recent famous sports men and women drawn from the below national sports, with at least 40% drawn from Famous Aboriginal Athletes, and at least 40% female, and at least 40% male, who enjoy a distinctive position to influence the behaviour and priorities of the students in the Ten Regional Township Teams than most non-sporting role models.

Cross Section Of Mentors notes that 12 different Sporting Role Models would be required to accompany the various other Cross Section Of Mentors during the four different On-Site Workshops which aggregate to 180 Mentor Days of a Sporting Role Model attending each of the below Three Motivational Teams Challenges'  On-Site Workshops and one Life Skills Guardians'  On-Site Workshop:

*        by end-April in the First RTV Year one Team Sporting Coach and one Younger Indigenous Corporate Sponsor Sports Employee for each of the Three Mixed Team Sports, supported by one Sporting Role Model, will attend each of the Six Regional Townships to conduct an On-Site Workshop with each of the Ten Regional Township Teams (and meet the Indigenous Local Connector) over three days, either during school holidays or over a long weekend =  10 townships x 3 sports x 1 Sporting Role Model = 30 visits by a Sporting Role Model for 3 days each = 90 Sporting Role Model days.

*        by end-April in the Second RTV Year two Public Speaking Instructors, supported by one Sporting Role Model, will attend each of the Six Regional Townships to conduct an On-Site Workshop to impart Public Speaking And Speech Preparation Skills within each of the Ten Regional Township Teams (and meet the Indigenous Local Connector) over three days, either during school holidays or over a long weekend =  10 townships x 1 Sporting Role Model = 10 visits by a Sporting Role Model for 3 days each = 30 Sporting Role Model days.

*        in the second half of the Second RTV Year two Life Skills Guardians, supported by one Sporting Role Model, will attend each of the Six Regional Townships to conduct an On-Site Workshop to impart Mentoring Support Messages about Four Nasty Pitfalls Besetting Teenagers within each of the Ten Regional Township Teams (and meet the Indigenous Local Connector) over three days, either during school holidays or over a long weekend =  10 townships x 1 Sporting Role Model = 10 visits by a Sporting Role Model for 3 days each = 30 Sporting Role Model days.

*        by end-April in the Third RTV Year two I.T. Geek Nerds, supported by one Sporting Role Model, will attend each of the Six Regional Townships to conduct an On-Site Workshop to impart Public Speaking And Speech Preparation Skills within each of the Ten Regional Township Teams (and meet the Indigenous Local Connector) over three days, either during school holidays or over a long weekend =  10 townships x 1 Sporting Role Model = 10 visits by a Sporting Role Model for 3 days each = 30 Sporting Role Model days.

Cross Section Of Mentors shows that 12 circa different Sporting Role Models are required:

  1. Two who understand and can play Soccer, but not necessarily an elite Soccer player (ie. a Swimmer 'et al').

  2. Two who understand and can play Tennis, but not necessarily an elite Tennis player (ie. an Australian Rules player 'et al').

  3. Two who understand and can play Basketball and Netball, but not necessarily an elite player (ie. a Netball player 'et al').

  4. Two who have become after dinner speakers who do not use Filler Words.

  5. Two who understand the Four Nasty Pitfalls Besetting Teenagers

  6. Two who are I.T savvy well beyond using Facebook and Twitter.

As with all of the Various Parties, the Sporting Role Models would claim Out-Of-Pocket Various Parties Costs as provided for in the Programme Budget Costs.

Sporting Role Models is one of the Eleven Mentoring Roles and one of the Three Team Challenges Mentors.
