Six Regional Township Teams Co-ordinators comprise -

*           Three Regional Northern Northern Territory Co-ordinators who are responsible to Liaise With 5 Indigenous Local Connectors, 5 Team Captains and 5 Township Team Vice-Captains for the 5 Regional Township Teams deemed to be within the Northern half of the Northern Territory; and

*           Three Regional Southern Northern Territory Co-ordinators who are responsible to Liaise With 5 Indigenous Local Connectors, 5 Team Captains and 5 Township Team Vice-Captains for the 5 Regional Township Teams deemed to be within the Southern Half of the Northern Territory.

Three Regional Township Teams Co-ordinators for each of the northern and southern sectors mitigate Key Man Risk by ensuring adequate back-up who are conversant with the 7Accepted Year 9 Aboriginal Students in their particular sector through communication with their respective 5 Indigenous Local Connectors, 5 Team Captains and 5 Township Team Vice-Captains.

The Six Regional Township Teams Co-ordinators are a 'One Year Appointment' for two reasons:

  1. The Three Motivational Teams Challenges are all quite different to each other (sports, public speaking/debating, I.T. smarts) and require very different skills to 'connect' with 140 Accepted Year 9 Aboriginal Students in co-ordinating their successful participation.

  2. The roles of the Three Regional Northern Northern Territory Co-ordinators and the Three Regional Southern Australia Co-ordinators are pivotal to the success of the 'Aboriginal Teenager Life Skills' RTV Programme and may involve any of them expending up to 200 hours per annum (4 hours per week) in Liaising With each of the 5 Indigenous Local Connectors and 5 Team Captains and 5 Township Team Vice-Captains in their northern or southern sector.

Any or all of the initial Six Regional Township Teams Co-ordinators may -

(A.)      nominate for reappointment at the start of Second RTV Year or Third RTV Year; and

(B.)      undertake another of the other seven of the Eleven Mentoring Roles that are available to Gatekeepers which would facilitate a 'hands on' role with some Accepted Year 9 Aboriginal Students and visit/see their Regional Townships.

As with all of the Various Parties, the Six Regional Township Teams Co-ordinators would claim Out-Of-Pocket Various Parties Costs as provided for in the 'Aboriginal Teenager Life Skills' Programme Budget Costs.
