 Hornsby Carpark 8am for Trois Montagnes anti-c/w via Old Pacific H'way to Berowra for descent to Berowra Waters, rural Berrilee, Arcadia for 1st Nosh Stop at Galston Gourmet Deli.  Then out/back along Crosslands Rd. Then descend to Galston Gorge and climb up to Hornsby Heights' bus shelter Sag Stop and 5km back to Hornsby Carpark - ETR 11:50am
Optional descent to Bobbin Head Bridge and retrace back to Asquith Golf Course and follow backroads to Hornsby  -  ETR 12:50pm

 Or start ride at Tallawong Metro station at 8:55am and end ride at Penrith station - 69km.
 1st Nosh Stop 10:45am after 27km at a cafe in Windsor St, Richmond opposite Richmond Oval
Shorten by ending ride at Penrith Station for train to Epping station, thence cycle to our Vimiera Rd start.
 Mandatory when cycling the M2 (and M7) to bring your bicycle to a 'HALT' on the LHS of the cycle lane immediately prior to every 'off-ramp', eg Windsor Rd, so as to have unimpeded vision of when safe to cross back onto the M2 (or M7) from the left side of the off ramp, because you could be real dead, real fast without clear vision of approaching vehicles that expect cyclists to know better.  You might also adopt the same risk mitigant at each 'on-ramp', although motorists entering the on-ramp are travelling slower than when egressing the tollway and should be mindful that the approaching cyclist/s on their RHS has rights to the lane.

8am Hornsby or 8:25am Berowra to Glenorie Village Bakery via Berowra Waters, thence ride anti C/W twds Arcadia, then right onto Old Northern Rd to Glenorie. 
Return to Hornsby by retracing down Old Northern Rd to Mid Dural Rd, thence Arcadia to Berowra Waters.  Or cycle thru Galston to Hornsby.
