Please pass this letter and the enclosed two identical CD ROMs onto Dr Rob Moodie so that his Taskforce can evaluate my Five YELP Business Plans which - (a) fall within Terms of Reference for National Preventive Health Taskforce; (b) compliment New Directions for Australia’s Health - Delivering GP Super Clinics to local communities; and (c) heed IPCC's May 2007 recommendation for humans to exhibit a "shift in lifestyle" which leaves a small Personal Carbon Footprint: 1st Youthful Exuberance Lifestyle Programme ("YELP) YELP Holistic First Business Plan to reduce the >$155b annual cost of Fifteen Problems which include chronic diseases due to Obesity, tobacco and excessive alcohol - $19.4m over 4⅓ years Propagation Phase 2nd Join a Green Team - Second Business Plan - limited to $36,500 marketing cost to health agencies due to 'user pays' cost structure 3rd Safety First Cycling Website - Third Business Plan - limited to $25,000 1st year cost to health agencies due to the mammoth information delivery capability of the internet Pertinent co-ordinates for each are at R&D Time, Budget Costs To Propagate and Project Life for Five Business Plans I refer to - (A) the Business Plan Developer's Letter to Secretary of the Department of Health and Ageing dated 28 March 2008 which provided in two CD ROMs a Business Plan for Youthful Exuberance Lifestyle Programme ("YELP") to reduce the >$155b annual cost of Fifteen Problems which each impact Health and Lifestyle Behaviour; and (B) the Business Plan Developer's Follow-up letter to Secretary of the Department of Health and Ageing dated 22 April 2008 which enclosed 2 CD ROMs which auto open at that letter and inter alia informed that the Business Plan Developer had prepared a Second Business Plan and Third Business Plan on CD ROM for two other Preventive Health projects as summarised herein; (C) Secretary of Federal Minister for Health & Ageing response letter dated 20 April [1 pg] which responds to (A) above which - (i) acknowledges merit of regular physical activity to combat Obesity and Depression; (ii) recognises proposal to conduct a Pilot initially; (iii) acknowledges the unprecedented economic and fiscal health care burden of Obesity; and (iv) suggests the Business Plan Developer monitor www.grantslink.gov.au.
The purpose of this Letter to Minister for Health and Ageing dated 23 June 2008 is because each of the afore-referenced Five YELP Business Plans that the Business Plan Developer has prepared - (I.) fall within the National Preventive Health Taskforce's below Terms of Reference: 1. support the further development of the evidence base on Preventive health, to inform what works and what doesn’t; 2. provide advice for policy makers on what strategies work best at a population level, and on the best buys for government investment in primary prevention; 6. support the development of inter governmental and public-private partnerships on Preventive health; II.) compliment New Directions for Australia’s Health - Delivering GP Super Clinics to local communities in particular Primary Care for the YELP Holistic First Business Plan which makes "Preventive health care..... more accessible to ordinary Australians struggling to find the time in their busy lives to look after their own health"; and Reference (A) above and the Executive Summary, and to two NSW government departments explain the YELP Business Plan. This Letter to Minister for Health and Ageing provides 2 CD ROMs of the - A. updated YELP First Business Plan; and B. afore-mentioned Second Business Plan and Third Business Plan which will -
(i) assist
ordinary Australians struggling to find the time to look after their own health
by a
Community Bicycle Group supervising their transition into
Recreational Road Cycling to - (ii) overtly promote a Green Australia to live a Local Healthy Lifestyle which leaves a small Personal Carbon Footprint; (iii) reduce sporting accidents in an era when Health and Climate Change Agencies are encouraging cycling and walking in lieu of some motor vehicle transport; (iv) reduce remedial health costs from exercise related accidents; (v) reduce litigation between an injured third party and a negligent participant; and (vi) reduce insurance premiums for third party and income protection cover for accidents during sporting activities. Would you please pass this letter and the enclosed two identical CD ROMs which auto-open at this letter onto Dr Rob Moodie so that his Taskforce can evaluate my Five YELP Business Plans which the Business Plan Developer has expended almost a thousand hours preparing, employing disciplines used by the likes of Macquarie Bank and Investec to write 'Information Memoranda' for new Greenfield projects which cover every facet of each project and are highly cost-effective.
