Recreational Road Cyclists or Recreational Road Cycling means Cyclists who ride traditional road bikes in Community Bicycle Groups on roads or occasionally on cycle paths.  Some Recreational Road Cyclists may ride up to 200km in a day because they enjoy regular rigorous exercise in the great outdoors and pitting themselves against their cycle buddies, particularly up steep hills in informal time trials.  By contrast, some cyclists consider themselves commuter cyclists, who may ride say 20km to and from work five days a week and for other short commuter trips.
