Bank Teller's rap-up of Tour
de Kurrajong Heights to scale the dreaded Bowen Mtn and
frightening Bellbird Hill - 122km from
Porters Lookout Dural - 9 cyclists
Eight smiling faces in above pic at bridge Cafe after 51km from

Trevor aka
Tornado,
BakerBoy, Sloth
and Architect
returned to Hornsby via Cattai Ridge for a 101km ride. The rest of us
'tacked' West to Richmond where we met
Scott aka
PatternMaker.
The
Famous Bunyp
Pine Tree may be gone, but Golly Gosh there still are lots of
nice trees at the park at the KOM of the dreaded Bowen Mtn Climb. It is
only a 2.95km climb, but Holy Toledo some parts were not too far shy of
20% gradient. Consensus prevailed that Bowen Mtn is noticeably tougher
than Old Ballarat Rd. A week ago, Scribe flew up
Old Ballarat Rd with two unused
lower gears, but today he crawled up Bowen Mtn in his lowest cog, albeit today
was a tad hotter.

Heights Bakery.
Scott aka
PatternMaker joined us at Richmond and
Jean aka ChiliDog
flew in at Kurrajong Heights after deciding that staying home would likely make
him feel even more poorly.
