Old Bathurst Rd which leads from Emu Plains at the foot of the Blue Mtns up to Springwood was again beaut to climb with some sections 17o. It is a real shame we only manage to get out West to climb it once a year. But the good news is that an even tougher "climbing" ride is Bowen Mtn and Bellbird Hill on Sun 4 Jan.
