Perform Nine Duties & Obligations Of Supervision means the below nine responsibilities a REC carries out to Supervise an Interested Adult (Adult Enquirer and GP's Patient) joining a LDRREG (for the RREA the Interested Adult selects) in order for the Interested Adult to progress to become a Participant:

(i)         Is familiar with the Training Procedures for at least 3 different RREAs in order to be able to discuss these 3 other RREAs with Interested Adults.

  (ii)        Receive an e-mail (via YELP Website) from an Interested Adult (Adult Enquirer or GP's Patient).

  (iii)       Invite, via 'phone call and follow-up e-mail, the Interested Adult to complete an Interested Adult Personal Profile on a YELP Website.

  (iv)       Review the Interested Adult Personal Profile and discusses it with the Interested Adult.

  (v)        Agree with the Interested Adult a suitable RREA and discusses equipment required and a few local shops to visit.

  (vi)       Ensure that each Interested Adult completes the Training Modules on a YELP Website required under the sanctioned Training Procedures (eg Recreational Road Cycling) for the particular RREA selected by the Interested Adult.

  (vii)      Ensure each Interested Adult passes a Multiple Choice Test of requisite Acquired Theoretical Knowledge of the Training Modules.

  (viii)     Introduces an Interested Adult to a LDRREG.

  (ix)       Pursuant to Taking Charge Of each Interested Adult progression thru the Final Three Stages of the Five Basic ‘Stages of Change’ -

    (1.)    Follow-up with the Participant and at least one Organiser at least monthly during the subsequent three months to oversee the Participant's progresses through the Final Three Stages of the Five Basic ‘Stages of Change’, to ensure the Participant is receiving all reasonable assistance and encouragement to integrate into the LDRREG.

    (2.)    Ensure each Participant completes an Participant Testimonial on the YELP Website three months after being Introduced to a LDREG for their chosen RREA to report on -
(a)        his/her progress in the LDRREG for their chosen REA;

            (b)        the Participant's progression through the Final Three Stages of the Five Basic ‘Stages of Change’; and

            (c)        performance of the REC who has Taken Charge Of  that Interested Adult to commence their selected REA and become a Participant in a LDREG.

    (3.)    Ensure each Participant completes a Participant Performance Report on the YELP Website six months after being Introduced to the RREA reporting on the LDRREG to report on -

              (a)        his/her progress in the LDRREG for their chosen REA;

            (b)        the Participant's progression through the Final Three Stages of the Five Basic ‘Stages of Change’; and

            (c)        performance of the REC who has Taken Charge Of  that Interested Adult to commence their selected REA and become a Participant in a LDREG.

For example in the case of Recreational Road CyclingSupervising includes -

1.         assist Interested Adult acquire the right type of road bike at a fair price;

2.         ensure Interested Adult receives Risk Management Protocols to mitigate accidents via e-Learning Research Techniques, incl completing a Liability Acknowledgement to participate in bike rides that the Ride Organiser is offering;

3.         Interested Adult achieves cycling skills and confidence by comprehending Tips for new road cyclists via e-Learning Research Techniques;

4.         facilitate Interested Adult develop friendships with other cyclists within the Local Community Common Bond Support Group; and

5.         smooth-over any personality differences.
