Scribe's rap-up of Hornsby, Mt White, Peats Ridge for "Somersby Bellbirds" clockwise - 123km - 14 cyclists

Lawyer 'n Pacific Pete with the chin wagers under the familiar verdant tree

Somersby Bellbirds has historically been a tough 126km ride from Hornsby, ostensibly because the pace is always on.  However, to celebrate Tony's return after training the local girl's Soccer Team all Winter as is his want (explained in his Profile Page),  t'was tougher today for Publican 'cause he peeled off 155km cycling from Dural at Sparrow Fart where he froze his proverbial off on the descent to Galston Gorge bridge.  When Scribe left Tony around 2pm at Hookham's Corner, Publican still had another 17km to do via The Gorge thence SW to his Dural 'digs'.

About to saddle back up at Peats Ridge United Gas (nee MidCoast Petroleum).
As the weather warms up, befitting our select stature we may try the Corrugated Cafe across the street which is a tad more salubrious and under cover which attracts a few Central Coast cyclists.  However, the warmth afforded in little courtyard at MidCoast Petroleum in Winter has rendered it a favourite Nosh Stop for many a year.

The burgers at Somersby today were again The Best, where Scribe washed it down with 1.25 litres of Pepsi Max
