Muggaccinos.com The Bullsheet Sunday, 2 Nov '08: ¨ Cinque Montagnes - clockwise from Nth Turra’ by 7:05am – 94km ETR 11:55am ¨ Trois Montagnes – clockwise from Hornsby by 7:40am – 65km ETR 11:30am FAST PACE RIDE, WITH FIRST AND ONLY NOSH STOP AT PIE IN THE SKY AFTER -* 61km FROM NORTH TURRAMURRA; or * 46km FROM HORNSBY Ø Ride Organiser: Phil Johnston 9114.6689 0412 045 224 Ø Hardcopy these directions and bring on Sunday Ø Click on: Risk Warnings which warns of the dangers of cycling on public roads with motor cars, potholes and over bridges with vertical timber planks with gaps Ø Cycling with Muggs is predicated upon notifying Bank Teller if you materially disagree with any clause(s) in Muggaccinos' "Ride Participants Liability Acknowledgment" Ø When boarding and alighting the Berowra Ferry, take particular care not to cycle over the metal rails on the cement ramps which can be very slippery Ø Don't ride two abreast on single lane roads with an unbroken centre line Ø Cycling without Public Liability cover is as silly as driving without 3rd Party property cover. Join Bicycle NSW or Bike Vic for P.L. insurance, or upgrade your household policy to include P.L. beyond your front fence, so that all Muggs are better protected, 'cause if you cause a serious accident it could cost you upwards of $1m in P.L. claims by the injured 3rd party Ø Cyclists from the primary/longer departure point of Nth Turramurra do not pass the shorter journey Hornsby departure spot - usually meet them ascending Galston Rd or when passing Andy's Cafe Nth Galston on route to Berowra Ferry.

They were shortly "catched-up" by Bill aka Glasgow who rode from his Eastwood digs flirting Pennant Hills Rd. Soon after Greg aka ArchitectToo caught us as well. BakerBoy and ChiliDog were the back-markers who started from Hornsby after BakerBoy had caught the train from Woy Woy and Jean had cycled from his Rozelle digs at Sparrow Fart. The ride up Old Northern Rd was grand on a beaut warmish morn' (muchly appreciated after 'Freezing Our Balls Off' only 3 days earlier), and fortunately there were only a couple of V8s dragging ski-boats. But we kept well to the LHS in single file in the dedicated shoulder.
Above 'n below pics at Wisemans Ferry Cafe after 42km from Dural and 11km more from Hornsby.
Above 'n below pics at Stone House Cafe Maroota after climbing that horror hill from Cliftonville where the initial 950m is a veritable Ball-Tearer.
