Long w'end, Monday 9 June '08 - Start from either Hornsby or Porters Lookout to meet up at Windsor for 1st Nosh Stop at 9:40am with below alternative options for the 2nd Leg

i)          Hornsby station rollout 7:30am 51km via Galston Gorge and Pitt Town Rd arriving Macquarie Square Windsor at 9:40am for 1st Nosh Stop (30 min)
Return via -
*        Cattai Ridge, Arcadia/Bay Rd, Berowra Ferry, Old Pacific H'way - 102km; or
*        Wilberforce, Sackville Ferry, Wisemans Ferry Rd, Halcrows Rd, Cattai Ridge Rd, Galston Gorge - 133km

OR

ii)         Porter's Lookout, Dural by 7:45am to cycle 38km to Windsor to arrive at 9:40am for 1st Nosh Stop (30 min). 
Thence Tour de Freeman's Reach, Nth Richmond, Lowlands, Cornwallis via 36km clockwise loop north. 
Thence return via Cattai Ridge Rd to Porter's Lookout -  34km -  agg 108km - ETR 2:45pm

Ø   No trackwork on Western Train Line to/from Windsor on Monday 9 June

Ø   Contingent upon fine weather -
*   Ride Organiser: Phil Johnston aka Scribe  9114.6689  0412 045 224 and Pete will start from Porters Lookout Dural; and
*   Rex aka MediaMan will start from Hornsby station carpark

Ø   Hardcopy these directions and bring on Sunday

Ø   Expend 5 min studying your street directory for the 36km clockwise 2nd Leg loop from Windsor, Freeman's Reach, Richmond Lowlands, Cornwallis, returning to Windsor which is beaut

Ø   Don't ride two abreast on single lane roads with an unbroken centre line

Ø   Cycling without Public Liability cover is as silly as driving without 3rd Party - join Bicycle NSW or Bike Vic for PL insurance, or upgrade your household policy to include PL beyond your front fence, so that all Muggs are better protected, 'cause if you cause a serious accident it could cost you upwards of $1m in PL claims by the injured party, which could be a fellow cyclist

Ø   When passing a fellow Mugg, always provide a metre clearance.  If you can't, or are passing on the inside, you MUST call out loudly eg. "passing inside" etc
