followed by 300m steep climb to M2.

Arrive at Old Post Office Shoppe café Springwood at 11:20am for 30 min Nosh Stop.
3rd Leg: Springwood, Mitchell Pass, Emu Plains station - 16.2km
Remount 11:50am
and descend the mountain avoiding Great Western H'way except for 800m section
when we cross it ,
including a beaut one-way section along Mitchells Pass to -
4th Leg: Alight train at Blacktown station at 1:52pm and cycle to Turramurra station carpark - 27km
ETR Turramurra station 3:15pm.

ToothFairy, David R (works for Macq Bank in Honkers and returns to Sydney infrequently), Richard, Scribe 'n Sandra enjoyed delightful sunshine with the sounds of a monster swell which attracted lots of motorists to the coastline. , Around 8am we had the above 900m Coalcliff Bridge to ourselves. However, on the return route early arvo the same bridge was chockers with sight seers.
We discovered a beaut cafe at Austinmeer, the Beachside Cafe.
