Rap-up of 1st Annual Illawarra Year End Challenge

Muggs' 1st Annual Illawarra Year End Challenge camping at the Bulli Showground proved a marvellous success with 13 adults (and two Nippers) camping an aggregate of 36 nights - averaging 2.77 adults per night.

Eric aka PapaBear, attended 2 day rides, as did Terry aka Navigator.  David aka CricketTragic joined us on the opening ride up Mt Keira - see map on LHS below.  Lois & Rod rode with us up Macquarie Pass and onto Kiama.

*      south to Jamberoo,

*      north up to Garie Beach; and

*      up a new killer climb up Mt Kembla and onto Mt Keira, which is a veritable  shocker.

We also discovered the beaut Ruby's Cafe at Bulli, managed by a gentle giant in Laurie, on visits to Bulli Beach for a few laps in the 50 yards pool, in late arvo.

The stars are in alignment for a bigger 'n better visit to Bulli at end-Dec this year, to see-in another New Year.
