Recruit and audition

Place
suitable
Interested Marginalised Teenagers in the appropriate chairs by section and eventually into
separate ensembles.

Select music and oversee the development of the
library in a way that maximises
members' enthusiasm and creativity.

Work
with the BTSOP SPV in scheduling
concert dates, venues and guest soloists.

Develop and maintain
a positive relationship with each
IMT Student
Musician, interested family members and interested
friends to foster and nurture a
Local Community Common Bond Support Group.

Proactively make suggestions to
the BTSOP SPV to improve the
quality of the experience that
IMT Student
Musicians receive.

Direct groups at rehearsals and live, or recorded performances, in order to
achieve desired effects such as tonal and harmonic balance dynamics, rhythm, and
tempo.

Plan and schedule rehearsals and performances, and arrange details such as
locations, accompanists, and instrumentalists.

Full
responsibility for his/her
IMT Student
Musicians
practicing for and
participating in the
Annual
National
Bohémian Teenagers Symphony Orchestras
Competition.

Consider such factors as ensemble size and abilities, availability of scores,
and the need for musical variety, in order to select music to be performed that
is popular with members.

Will
reside within 20km of the
Local Community
Hall
and be available virtually 24 x 7 to communicate with and assist their
IMT Student Musicians.

Arrange
guest appearances from leading Australian and international musicians when
such noteworthy performers are 'in town'.
