Due Diligence means with respect to the Civil Liability (Personal Responsibility) Act - Nov 2002, an Organiser/Inviter who is familiar with all Foreseeable, Non-Obvious, Explicit Risks on the route for a Recreational Activity that the Organiser/Inviter is inviting Invitee(s) to participate in.

In the case of Recreational Road Cycling Due Diligence would be a Ride Leader or Ride Organiser who is familiar with all Foreseeable, Non-Obvious, Explicit Risks on a ride route which participants are invited to ride because the -

      Ride Leader or Ride Organiser has performed a one-off examination of a new ride route to identify all Foreseeable, Non-Obvious, Explicit Risks; or

*        Ride Leader or Ride Organiser has ridden the ride route previously and therefore is aware of all Foreseeable, Non-Obvious, Explicit Risks.
