KOM Information Memorandum KOM Defined Terms KOM Challenge Series Calendar and Event Costs to 2012 KOM Summary Bullet Points KOM SWOT Analysis Section 13B(a)
Establishing a Enthuse Government health agencies, the Corporate world and other Registered Charities associated with health and the Disabled to support the Inaugural Annual KOM Challenge Series
As noted in Section 10, a few years ago the Event Organiser, Phil Johnston, has met and spoken with the CEO, Jim O'Brien, and a head rehab physio, Kelvin Smith, of Wheelchair Sports Assoc NSW located at Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney who are directly involved with rehab following spinal injuries at Moorong Spinal Unit Ryde NSW and encouraging patients into various wheelchair sports, incl Hand Cycling. Section 10(c) - Three organisations/companies that provide Specialist Bicycles for the Disabled. One of these providers of speciality bikes, Technical Aid for the Disabled (NSW) ("TADNSW") is also located at Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney, 227 Morrison Road, Ryde, NSW 2112.
Material synergies exist in seeking an alliance with Wheelchair Sports Association NSW. Each Australian state has a Registered Charity which similarly rehabilitates people after trauma accidents render them paraplegic and quadriplegic. Changing the values of consumers away from Economic Materialism to playing in the great outdoor as many of us did as kids and thereafter wanting to protect our ecosystem can be complimented by - (i) providing better utilitarian foundations for the Disabled to better manage the rigors of modern life ie, within a communal LCCBSG be it a bicycle group, hiking club, rowing team or Masters swimming; and (ii) assisting the Disabled enhance their QOL with beneficial spins explained in Section 13B(f) "Providing an opportunity for an array of Disabled folk to improve their QOL is the lynchpin to enthusing all 18 other Stakeholders to support the KOM Challenge Series." |
