Social Democratic Government means -

I.          government -

            (i)         rejects Neo-Liberal extremism's ideology of unrestrained free markets because too often such markets are conflicted by greed to the detriment of the majority;

            (ii)        preserves the productive capacity of properly regulated competitive markets where government is the regulator;

            (iii)       funds or provides public goods; and

            (iv)       offsets the inevitable inequalities of the market with a commitment to fairness for all.

II.          a system of open markets -

             (i)        unambiguously regulated by an activist state; and

             (ii)       where the state intervenes to reduce the greater inequalities that competitive markets inevitably generate due to -
-    differing intellectual opportunities (education, genetics) of some of the "market players"; and
-    bias from vested interest groups with conflicted interests.
