Sporting Clubs means for the purpose of appraising against the ASC 2006 ERASS format and its estimates organised physical activity for exercise, recreation and sport covering the 164 circa Sports listed at the end of the Questionnaire in 2006 ERASS:

            tens of thousands of Sporting Clubs across Australia of which the largest 30 Sports represent 70% of Sporting Teams and Sporting Clubs. 

            The largest number of Sporting Clubs involve the 30 Largest Sports.
