Samurai's rap-up of
Tour de Wiseman's Ferry - 120km - 4 cyclists
Arno, Matt, Adam and I had
another perfect Autumn days ride. We started @ 7:30am and endured the thickest
fog I've seen for a long time descending Berowra. Visibility of around 10 to 15m
and quite cool to say the least. Old Northern road was fairly quiet traffic wise
and Wiseman's Ferry was as picturesque as ever. A gentle pace along the
Hawkesbury River and yes the wooden slat bridge is still there. Brunch at Cliftonville and a nice 900m climb out up to Wiseman's Ferry Rd. A very fast run
to Halcrows Rd., along Cattai Ridge to Old Northern Rd. Down Wylds Rd and
down to Berowra where we met Ann-Marie for a coffee at the marina. Back to
Arno's for afternoon tea after a most enjoyable 130kms. Too good!!
