About to scale 10.5km Macquarie Pass with the relatively gentle 6% ave gradient of 6% peaking @ 7.9%, no match for our next climb that day which peaked at a golly gosh, incredulous 17.7% - see below

Martin aka Architect punctured on descent of Jamberoo Pass, and lived to tell the tale.

Above 'n below - Start of much avoided Fountaindale Rd KOM Climb to Saddleback Mtn where only Scribe, Harry aka KayakMan and Terry aka Navigator climbed it.

The daunting gradient for the 2nd KOM climb into Saddleback Mtn reserve.  A mere 900m but only one Mugg has ever conquered it - C 3rd pic down this URL.

Navigator was the only one cyclist to attempt the 2nd KOM Climb into Saddleback Mtn Reserve with a steepest gradient of 17.7% registering on Terry's Polar gizmo.  Terry got halfway and demounted for fear of popping a kneecap.  Above pic of Navigator subsequently descending from the Reserve.
