Balance Transfer Fee means a fee charged by a Credit Card Issuer to transfer a balance from one or several Credit Cards to another Credit Card.  This fee can be anywhere from 1% to 5% of the Balance Transfer amount.  The Balance Transfer Fee may, or may not, have a cap -- in other words, a maximum Balance Transfer Fee amount.  Not all Balance Transfer Interest-Free Period Offers involve an explicit Balance Transfer Fee, but rather often involve Predatory Sale Of A Financial Product.

Caps on Balance Transfer Fees used to be common, but have become less so in recent years.

All such fees listed in Credit Cardholder Fees.
