Negative Stressors means nervous tension that is potentially overwhelming and perhaps out of your control.   Negative sources of stress can include the loss of a job, family member going 'off the rails', a parent(s) struggling to feed their family, medical illness, drug dependence, divorce/separation/ending a relationship, failing to meet difficult work deadlines, living within a tight budget due to low income, victim of a crime, or mental unrest such as Depression.
