Defined Terms and Documents 'Aboriginal Teenager Life Skills' RTV Social Inclusion Early Intervention Programme Aboriginal Heritage means people identified as being of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander origin amongst Australia's Original Inhabitants. ABS reports that in 2011, there were 548,370 people identified as being of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander origin and counted in the 2011 Census. This represented 2.5% of the Australian population as recorded in the 2011 Census.
