Section 11        Rollout Annual KOM Challenge Series to all Australian States by end-2014

 

The Event Team would successful stage the Inaugural Annual KOM Challenge Series in Sydney from Sunday 17 April 2011 to Sunday 29 May 2011 for the Event Team Fee for the Inaugural KOM Series at cell J62 in Schedule 2 - Aust '12, '13 '14.

 

The Event Team would conduct the following Annual KOM Challenge Series in 2012:

(i)                Sydney (15 April to 27 May);

(ii)           Gold Coast Hinterland, South Eastern Qld (10 June to 1 July),

(iii)          Canberra (9 September to 23 September); and

(iv)              The Dandenongs, Vic (7 Oct to 11 Nov).

Total Future Event Team Fees are listed in Schedule 2 - Aust '12, '13, '14 at cell B43 for the 4 KOM Challenge Series in Australia in 2012, payable after the Event Team successfully delivers each State Series ie. the amount in cell AE91 is payable upon completion of the Canberra KOM Challenge Series in late-Sept 2012, except for Winner Trophies and Qualifier Jerseys which would be paid for upon presentation of the invoice by the Event Organiser.

The Event Team would extend the Annual KOM Challenge Series in 2013 to the remaining states of

(v)            Hobart (Feb),

(vi)           Adelaide (March); and

(vii)          Perth (April),

at a Total Future Event Team Fee listed at cell B73 in Schedule 2 - Aust 12, 13, 14 payable to the Event Team at the completion of each State Series, except for Winner Trophies and Qualifier Jerseys, thereby evidencing YELP providing an Annual KOM Challenge Series in each Australian State, plus ACT, within 3 years, including providing separate categories for the Disabled.

Below is the population of the largest 14 Australian cities on 7 Aug 2001, and the 7 capital cities as at 2004 - the percentage of each city is in final column, whereupon 31.43% of people who live in these cities live in Sydney and only 3.57% in Hobart.  This data has been used to extrapolate participation by Abled and Disabled Climbers in Schedule A.
