Section 7(a)

The Event Team comprises four highly accomplished road cyclists with project management, cycle race management, I.T. and cycle endurance experience, as well as a Enrolled Nurse experienced in assisting the disabled into cycling

(a)          Phil Johnston is the Event Organiser responsible for successful performance of the KOM Series - personal profile in Section 3

              The Event Organiser is responsibility for ensuring all Tasks in the Microsoft Project 2007 "Task Schedule" and associated "Gantt Chart" are achieved on time.   The Event Organiser will provide a 'Monthly Progress Report' [at least 10 pages] to the Project Certifier (Mark Carrington) on the last working day of each month, commencing end-Jan 2009.  The Project Certifier will review the 'Monthly Progress Report' and provide it and his Project Certifier's "Monthly Statement" [at least 5 pages] which comments on the 'Monthly Progress Report' to each member of the Event Team within 3 days of receipt.  Each Project Certifier's 'Monthly Statement' will be addressed to the Event Team and be for the benefit of the Event Team. 

              The Event Organiser is prepared to provide a copy of his Monthly Progress Report and the Project Certifier's Monthly Statement to the Sole Sponsors for information.

(b)          Mike O'Reilly is a highly experienced Bicycle Race Organiser in Australia.  Mike was Secretary of Northern Suburbs Cycling Club for over 10 years and has been Secretary of BiciSport Cycling Club for the last 12 years.  Mike was a joint Vice President of Cycling NSW for two years, and has organised almost 500 bicycle races over the last 20 years, incl performing an integral role in the recent annual Suntour Race Series in Vic, and a few of the former Commonwealth Bank Cycle Classics.  Mike has cycled in Europe on about 10 extended trips, the most recent being for 3 month in 2006 where he was domiciled in Belgium and knows several cycle contacts in Europe. 

               Mike's title in the Event Team is "KOM Climbs Access and KOM Series Co-ordinator".  Mike will assist the Event Organiser obtain (by end Oct '08) all requisite written approvals from NSW Police, Hornsby Council and RTA for unfetted access to the 3 KOM Climbs from 17 April 2011 to 29 May 2011.

               Mike will also play a pivotal role in planning and administering the 8 days of Climbing in the Inaugural Annual KOM Challenge Series.

               The Budget for the Inaugural Annual KOM Challenge Series includes the following provisions for the "KOM Climbs Access and KOM Series Co-ordinator" -

               1.        $2,000 [Schedule 1 - Budget Sydney 2007 - item (xvi) Row 74] to cover costs to obtain all written consents permitting unfetted access to conduct the Inaugural Annual KOM Challenge Series;

               2.        $4,750 [Schedule 1 - Budget Sydney 2007 - item (ix) Row 59] to cover planning and dress rehearsals for the 8 KOM Climb Days to ensure 80 Climbers can complete 3 Climbs and 100 Disabled Climbers complete 2 KOM Climbs in the allotted 8 hours; and

               3.        $577 per day or $4,613 over 8 day [Schedule 1-Budget Sydney 07 - item (C) Row 21].

(c)          Mark Carrington has cycled from Perth to Melb. twice and Darwin to Adelaide once.  Instrumental in helping RideAcrossOz - Melbourne cycle touring business - web-based marketing presence to reach foreign markets to build repeat business for tours (Darwin to Adelaide tour was two thirds repeat business with half from overseas).  Member of Audax Australia and regularly completes Audax events (including acclaimed 200 km Audax Alpine Classic, two 300 km and one 600 km events completed in last 12 months).  Mark plans to compete in 1,200km Paris Brest Paris 2007.  He was part of the support crew for a two man team competing in the 2007 Race Across America supporting Glenn Druery - one of Australia's pre-eminent endurance cyclists who competed in 2005 RAAM.

Over 25 years of management consulting experience in Australia, Sth Africa, Europe and USA, covering industry and business activities - financial services (credit cards and investment banking) and travel/tourism (including airlines; tour operators; and travel agents).  Qualified in Business Science, Law and chartered management accountant and has completed a Masters programme in Business Administration.  Director of Two Bays Consulting Pty Ltd.   

               Mark's title in the Event Team is "Project Certifier".  Mark will review the Event Organiser's KOM Monthly Progress Report [at least 10 pages] and provide it and his "Certifier's KOM Monthly Statement" [at least 3 pages] to the Event Team within 3 days of receipt.  Each "Certifier's KOM Monthly Statement" will be addressed to the Event Team for the benefit of the Event Team.

               The Budget for the Inaugural Annual KOM Challenge Series includes a provision of $3,600 [Schedule 1 - Budget Sydney 2009 - item (xvii) Row 76] to cover the cost of Mark preparing 9 x Project Certifier's KOM Monthly Statements @ $400 each.

(d)                    Karen Bagshaw cycle commuter, enrolled nurse, has worked in aged care and welfare and possesses a passion for assisting the disabled and less fortunate get into cycling. 

Karen coached gymnastics in her early teens, co-managed a gymnastic club and has taught children with severe disabilities to swim.

Karen built and maintains www.bicyclerecycling.com.  In 2001 Karen was nominated by Holroyd Community Aid for a NSW Premier's Award.  Karen provided some of the research for -

*         re environmental initiatives ie. Greenhouse Challenge Plus; and

              *         Section 9 re various Registered Charities for the Disabled which Karen and the Event Organiser
                         will liaise with to attract Disabled prepare for their day of
Individual Time Trials, although as explained at
                         Section 13(B)(b), we are hopeful that Australian Paralympics Committee will be enthused to
                         encourage up to 50 elite Disabled athletes to participate in the Inaugural Annual KOM Challenge Series.

              Karen's title in the Event Team is "Disabled Co-ordinator" who will work closely with the Event Organiser during 2007 to ensure that all Registered Charities are encouraged to assist their members to compete in the Disabled Finals day on Saturday, 21 May 2011. 

              The Budget for the Inaugural Annual KOM Challenge Series includes a provision of $12,500 [Schedule 1 - Budget Sydney 2009 - item (xv) Row 72 ] to cover these costs which will be highly labour intensive.

(e)          Sergey Shulubin, a Russian I.T. Programmer with a degree in Higher Mathematics at University of St Petersburg, has built and maintains several website, incl www.KOMpm.com and in 2003 and 2007 completed the pinnacle of endurance cycle events; the 1,200km Paris Brest Paris ride in under 90 hours, and

               Sergey's title in the Event Team is "I.T. Programmer and Internet Climb Report Publisher".

               The Budget for the Inaugural Annual KOM Challenge Series includes a provision of $6,000 [Schedule 1 - Budget Sydney 2009 - item (viii) Row 62] for Sergey to write code to -

               *           enable Qualifiers to complete an Application Form at www.KOMpm.com and publish Climber Profile Pages and their Climber Photo; and

               *           enable all Climb Reports to be published on www.KOMpm.com directly from readings from electronic recording equipment activated by odometers on each Climber's bicycle.
