Ten Green Commandments for Sporting Participants in Australia's Sporting Clubs & Recreational Exercise Groups

    1.      Thou shall not regard Climate Change as someone else’s problem.

   2.      Thou shall provide a clear mandate to all Australian governments to implement both Sociable and Stringent Measures to –

(a)        reduce Australia’s Carbon Footprint irrespective of other countries reluctance to make similar vital decisions;

(b)        levy -

                 *        Individual Carbon Taxes upon Australians which leave a large Personal Carbon Footprint; and

             *        Industry Carbon Taxes upon Australian companies which -
          (i)       leave a large 'Industry Carbon Footprint'; or
          (ii)      deliberately make false representations about their 'Industry Carbon Footprint'.

(c)        reduce deforestation globally, and where necessary, compensate foreign countries for maintaining rain forests; and

(d)       encourage all countries to implement voluntary birth control because every human leaves a Carbon Footprint.

  3.       Thou shall register one's Personal Carbon Footprint on Australia’s Register of "Aussie Green Sporting Teams" (new Participants in YELP enter their Personal Carbon Footprint via the Participant Testimonial)

  4.       Thou shall strive to implement Carbon Reducing Lifestyle Behaviours which will reduce thou's Carbon Footprint. 

  5.       Thou shall strive to influence others to reduce their Personal Carbon Footprint. 

  6.       Thou shall live a Local Community Healthy Lifestyle enjoying the great outdoors leaving a small Personal Carbon Footprint.

  7.       Thou shall encourage other Australians to live a Local Community Healthy Lifestyle which leaves a  small Personal Carbon Footprint.

  8.       Thou shall leave planet Earth in the same or better ecological condition than thou found it.

  9.       Thou shall not adore -
(i)         humans who leave a large Personal Carbon Footprint; or
(ii)        companies which leave a large 'Industry Carbon Footprint'.

10.       One more Commandment to find.
