Scribe's rap-up of Tour de Macarthur clockwise - 110km - 2
Having seen heap plenty moist cloud on the radar screen for Royal National Park around 7am Sat morn', an early phone around amongst a few who had earlier expressed an interest in the scheduled Tour de Royal National Park (right on the coast) evidenced no interest in cycling in the rain. TugBoat and Bank Teller were still keen for a ride, and the 110km Tour de Macarthur route (immediately east of the catchment area) looked dry enough, especially as "it never rains in the catchment area". The two of us had a beaut 110km ride although it was a tad moist which wasn't flash for us, but good for the farmland which still appears tinder dry.
Samurai, ToothFairy and Grant aka BeanCounter are three who have indicated they will be cycling on Monday if it is fine enough. Weather forecast is an early shower and then fine. But what would the weather forecast know!!!
