Muggs' 2nd Annual Illawarra Year End Challenge
camping at
the Bulli Showground was thoroughly enjoyed by all who participated.
Trev did a sterling job of leading our routes and not losing anybody. We
climbed some Memorable Montagnes and visited Marvie Cafes. On again next Xmas.

Day 1 - Bulli to Wollongong scale Mt. Keira to The Mt. Keira Lookout. Descend
Lookout Rd and pedal Nth West along ridge to Mt Kembla to the 1902 Bulli Mine Explosion Windy Gully Cemetery. Descend Mt Kembla and return to Bulli - 71km

Day 2 - Bulli, Wollongong, Cringila, Warrawong,
Jamberoo Rd to Jamberoo, Swamp Rd, Princes H'way, Albion Park Rail for train
back - 74km - 562 vertical metres

Day 3 - Bulli,
Coalcliff Bridge, Otford Rd, Helensburgh, Waterfall, back down the coastline
- 69.4km - 1,258 vertical metres

Day 4 - Bulli to Wollongong,
Cordeaux Heights to scale Mt. Kembla, then visit 1902 Bulli Mine Explosion Windy
Gully Cemetery at Windy . Descend Mt Kembla and return to Bulli -

Wollongong, scale Mt. Keira and Mt Kembla, descend Cordeaux Heights - 58.5km
We again frequented the beaut Ruby's Cafe at Bulli, managed by a
gentle
giant, Laurie, supported by his harem.
