In early, '07 Sergey returned to Australia briefly on a
mission. Over the 4 concurrent w'ends Sergey successfully qualified for the
2007 PBP by completing separate 200km, 300km, 600km and 400km road rides.
In the process Sputnik has lost over 7kgs and is right down to fighting
weight. Heineken, who has also peeled-off a lot of weight, recently commented that Sergey is hard to shake-off on KOM Climbs. The above 4 qualifiers are testimony to Arno's professional judgement.
