GHG Emissions or Greenhouse Gases or CO2 Emissions means those gaseous constitutes of the Earth's Atmosphere, both natural and anthropogenic, that absorb and re-emit infrared radiation, and include carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydro fluorocarbons (HFCs), perflurocarbons (PFC’s) and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6).

For the purposes of assessing Climate Change / Global Warming, this definition of Greenhouse Gases does not include water vapour.

Emitted from burning Fossil Fuels and measured in tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalents.
