BOOT Project means upon a SPV winning a Govt tendered PPP infrastructure project, the SPV -
* Builds new Greenfield or refurbs existing Brownfield infrastructure (a tunnel, tollroad, hospital, seaport etc);
* Owns the infrastructure;
* Operates it [in order to return revenue to repay debt and satisfy equity (eg. charge toll fees for vehicles using the tunnel or tollroad)] for the term of the 'Concession Deed' (usually 30 years) and at the expiry of the 'Concession Deed'; and
* Transfers the Greenfield or Brownfield infrastructure back to the Govt agency that granted the 'Concession Deed', whereupon the Govt. agency awards a new 'Concession Deed', possibly to the same SPV.
