ETR Turramurra station 1:40pm. Scribe's rap-up of Sat 11 June Tour de Royal National Park - 11 starters - 95km Unsure why, but the Waratah Park carpark was chockers last Sat morn'. Perhaps the car owners were all in swimming at the Sutherland Pool complex or on push bikes, 'cause we saw some big Peloton bunches, albeit not in the park. After 44km we pulled-in at the Stanwell Park cafe, except Ange 'n Pete.
Pete aka Gobbler, Ange, Firey, Koala Bear, Bank Teller, Samurai Brenda aka Widget, Pete aka Rummager, Moots 'n Kaza
Gene and Phil had chores a beckoning and high-tailed it back to the carpark for a 75km hit-out. The remainder, incl Pete 'n Ange, visited Gyrie and Bundenna Beaches and got dumped-on big time at Bundenna.
Scribe's rap of Sunday, 5 June, Cinque Montagnes, 94km - 11 cyclists
Alas, with the advent of June, the golden Autumn morns' were no more, albeit a thin layer of cloud keep the temp up a tad. 11 of made it to PitS for our initial Nosh after 38km, incl Dave H aka Radar, Richard A, Sandra and Tyro, ably supported by regulars - ToothFairy, Scribe, Navigator, Auckland, TugBoat 'n Whippet.
We didn't dally at either PitS or our 2nd Nosh, at Andy's (nee Grumpy's) after 66km, and returned to Nth Turra' after 94km 'n five hills on time at 2pm.
