Scribe's rap-up of Tour de Windsor    -   8 starters       -    98km

Grant aka BeanCounter, Tyro Johan, Samurai, Printer, Pete aka Gobbler, Ang, Gene aka KoalaBear, Martin aka Architect participated, with a few cycling out to Windsor via a foggy Galston Gorge.  Hope we see lots more of Johan on Muggs' rides.

Scribe's rap-up of Loop the Lake        -   8 starters       -    85km

Bank Teller's invitation in the Bullsheet to attend Loop the Lake staying at the Wangi Wangi Hotel included "45km loosener to Speers Point on Sat arvo and pissy dinner the night before."   That forecast proved true to form with Paul, Scribe, ExPat, Publican and Auckland enjoying a quick paced sortie to the top of the lake from Wangi on a delightful Spring arvo.  Although Paul opted for the scenic route on the return leg, clocking 61km.

That evening a few of the crew imbibed a tad more than perhaps they anticipated when they settled into a cosy garden table setting amidst the setting sun over a wholesome meal in the Wangi beer garden.  Paul's wife, Ros Marie and her friend, Sarah, provided charming, delightful company.  Pacific Pete and ToothFairy joined us on Sunday morn' at Speers Point.

NB:    Tony aka Publican, on his first hit-out with Muggs after having a bionic hip prosthesis, was "on-fire".  Publican will raise lots of eyebrows over coming months in the manner he gobbles up the hills and rockets down the descents.
