Road
cycling is relatively dangerous. Membership
of Bicycle NSW provides $20m Public Liability cover if you injure a
fellow Mugg or motorist
If
you cause an accident to another Mugg or 3rd party, you could lose
your personal assets. Or conversely, if you are badly injured
by another cyclist, you
might litigate the negligent cyclist. If you regularly park your
butt on
a bicycle seat, and if you aren't a member of a cycle
racing club, join BNSW or Bike Vic or check to see if
your household insurance covers for 3rd party beyond your home.

Bank Teller's
rap-up of Tour de Pearl Beach
A corker of a late spring morn', albeit with a nip in the
air, evidence a large contingent muster at Hornsby car-park for the
scheduled 7:30am rollout. Peter Tuft, who capably provided lots of the
maps and elevation profiles in the "King of the Mountain" climbs' folder
(in this website) made a re-appearance. Pete, who has a GPS, and with more
scientific nous in his finger nail than in Bank Teller's cranium, was
able to set up Phil's new toy. Shortly intricate street maps and elevation
profiles for all Muggs' rides will start appearing on this website.
Michael Wilson, aka Diplomat, was another to re-surface.
Simon took along his "3 times optical zoom" to take
some action shots, but the above and below Happy Snaps from Mt White will
have to do for the time being.
Pacific,
Ann-Marie
'n Publican
mulling thru
Adam 'n Eve's
snaps from their extended sortie in Ireland last Winter whilst
we stayed home and froze. Evidencing many of those pics
suggests that we also stayed a lot dryer, and likely warmer.
A few of the late arrivers at Pearl Beach, propped up by Amy
who was the friend of the child Scribe volunteered to take this pic, and
felt kind of out-of-it seeing her buddy the esteemed photographer, so Amy got in
it.

Good news is that the Grouse House in Blackwell Rd,
Woy Woy which went belly-up about 6 mths ago, has re-opened as
Acropolis Yeeros, with an authentic Greek influence provided by swarms of
the Nicoloulias family, and they all have a sense of humour. Acropolis
Yeeros is definitely on Muggs' "regular visit list".
