Scribe's rap-up of Somersby Bellbirds - 127km 22 Muggs' marshalled at Road Warriors' Cafe, Mt. White from nine bells after 35km from Hornsby. Alas, 'twas less than comfortable on a stifling warm, oppressive morn'. Whereupon, a few incl Bazza, Publican and ToothFairy exercised the option in the ride programme to revert to Hornsby for the 70km loop. The rest followed the programmed route, except Samurai, Rummager 'n Kaza who opted for the scenic route twds Gosford via Peats Ridge - someone buy 'em a compass.
Heineken, Matt, Sputnik, Colnago, Yamaha 'n Whippet at Somersby General Store with no respite from the flies, although the burgers were yummy and the service friendly.
Sarah (wearing a reflection of the reddish Coke umbrella) and Roslyn chuffed on her new sexist bike.
Gobbler 'n Angie (particularly jolly about something) under another reddish Coke brolley.
