Scribe's
rap-up of Quatre Montagnes Plus, Sunday 16 Feb
As
may be gleaned from the bottom pic, 20 or so Muggs' cyclists tagged-up at
Grumpies Cafe at Arcadia at 9am after 41.5km after the Berowra Waters
cafe wasn't open by 8:30am we moseyed-on thru.
But
back to that later. All bar Gene Autry commenced from Turra' about
7:05am, with Tony's mate, Pete, on a mountain bike making an inaugural
appearance. And Starbucks was making a re-appearance after a few
weeks off. And Sputnik was struting a bright yellow/red
Garry Fisher jersey.

There was a heck of a
crowd on the 8:25am westbound Berowra Waters' ferry today.
Following our only Nosh
Stop at Grumpys, we headed for Galston Gorge via the 5.8km adjunct to
the Crosslands Rd 'Toadstool' to see where some of the rich people live.
Approaching midday
it all ended back at Turra' after 83km in the sauna, although PJ
whimped-out by taking the short-cut along the eastern side of the rail tracks
from Hornsby to Turra', proffering a black stubbed toe
as his excuse.
