Scribe’s rap-up of Bayview for Brunch, returning via Akuna Bay - 94km 14 crew met-up at an o'cast West Head at 8:50am after 42km, having taken in the 14km loop of Duffy's Forest where we encountered mega cyclists doing a time-trial.
After the big dude 4th from the left dropped a clanger which should have been confined to "mens' talk", Andrew, the chap in question earned the moniker, "The Horse". With Publican having recently labeled the big fella Mike, "Cluster", some of our lads are multi-talented. Alas, one is a Springbok, and the other a Kiwi.
Looking at all these pics of crew sitting around "re-loading", reminds Scribe that he'll have to plan some action shots of cyclists actually cycling.
Post Bayview, several of the gang, incl BackPacker, Bazza, Cooko, ToothFairy, Gene Autry and The Horse took the short-cut directly to St Ives. Adam 'n Eve, Cluster, Tornado and Scribe took-in Akuna Bay. Approaching 1pm a leaner contingent returned to St Ives with 94km "all done", on perhaps the first humidish day this Summer.
