50% deposit for booking two rooms for Saturday, 9 September 2006

Refer my phone call to you last Saturday.

As mentioned, I am a push bike cyclist who is arranging accommodation for other cyclists for Sat, 9 Sept.  I have organised about 10 cycle w’ends previously staying at a plethora of pubs from the George IV Picton to the Wangi Wangi Hotel.

As usual, my bicycle friends are notoriously slow to commit themselves a month in advance which is a bummer for me the organiser.

Would you please accept the enclosed bank cheque for $80 as a 50% non-refundable deposit for 2 rooms with 1 double bed and 1 single bed each @ $80 per room.

If the weather is OK on Sat 9 Sept, six adults (incl me) will arrive around 1pm at your hotel and stay that night in the above 2 rooms whereupon we will have to pay you an additional $80.

If the weather is a dog, we won’t attend and you can keep the enclosed $80 deposit.  If we are not coming due to rain, I will phone you hotel by 11am on Sat 9 Sept.

NB:      I expect that other cyclists will want to attend, so I may be bothering you to book a 3^rd or even a 4^th room.
