Three Base Camps means for 2019 Tour de Conquer  -

*        1st Base Camp at Le Bourg d'Oisan staying in chalets (cabins) for 6 nights at Le Colporteur Campsite (5 min walk from the Village of Bourg d’Oisans) where 4 Muggs stayed in Sept 2012 and 5 Muggs in 2013; and

*        2nd Base Camp at Saint Jean de Maurienne staying in chalets for further 7 nights Camping Municipal des Grands Cols Camp Ground where 4 Muggs stayed in Sept 2012; and

*           3rd Base Camp at Chambery staying in chalets for further 3 nights from Tues 17th Sept to Thurs 20th Sept - accessible by train from our 2nd Base Camp and en route back to Lyon Airport.

Each camp ground is located approx. 10 mins walk to the centre of town.
