Foliage above staircase needs to be cut back to enable painting of this 'common area' in January

I needed a timber saw to cut the remaining branches, so that the root system remains and the trees can regrow after the painting.

The two newer green bins are now both full.  I have placed them on the nature strip on the other side of Stokes St. 
I will remove the broken wooden pieces and leaves (above) that are sitting on the concrete shelf after the two bins are emptied this Thurs. 
I will also then settle the soil away from the concrete, to not impair painting.
