In the last 5 years the Business Plan Developer has donated slightly over $103,000 to registered charities:

  1. Letter from Commonwealth Bank Staff Community Fund dated 27 April 2007 which acknowledges my donation of $98,256.39 on 26 Feb 2007 when I retired from Commonwealth Bank.  Each year Commonwealth Bank Staff Community Fund disburses its pool of employee donations to approx. 50 charities which it has investigated their bona fides and expenditure.

  2. On 7 Jan 2005 I donated $1,000 to Caritas for the Tsunami appeal.

  3. In 2006, I won a $1,000 gift voucher from CBA for a 'Core Value' performance which provided the option to donate to a charity whereupon CBA would double to amount to $2,000.  I nominated the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation because a mate's son suffers from Osteogenesis Imperfecta.

  4. I have fortnightly contributions to Commonwealth Bank Staff Community Fund for many years which aggregated approx $300 pa.

  5. I have made approx. 6 small donations each financial year averaging $50 each.

Naturally, I have claimed the above donations, except 3 above, on my annual income tax return.
