My email to ANZ re its Low Rate MasterCard

I telephoned your enquiries # 1800050.967 around 4:30pm today, 15 Jan '15, and asked your representative if I open a new ANZ Low Rate MasterCard and I am approved for a a 'Balance Transfer' @ 0% for 16 months to transfer my existing indebtedness from a non ANZ credit card, would I receive an 'Interest Free Period' of up to 55 days on 'Purchases' that I made whilst my Balance Transfer was not repaid.
The chap that I spoke to put me on hold as he wanted to enquire to a specialist in ANZ credit cards. He returned a few minutes later and told me that because of the 'Balance Transfer' benefit, that I would not enjoy an 'Interest Free Period' until the o/s amount of my 'Balance Transfer' was repaid.
I have reviewed 'Balance Transfers can affect how interest is charged on your credit card account' in "ANZ Credit Cards - CONDITIONS OF USE | 19.09.2014 CONSUMER CREDIT CARDS" which is not clear on this issue. Could you email me the precise clause which establishes that no 'Interest Free Period' applies to 'Purchases' whilst a 'Balance Transfer' is not repaid in full.
Cheers
