Cape Town's "city bowl" view
(above) from Table Mountain, and the (below) view from the
other side, evidences that there are plenty of seriously steep climbs
which overlook Cape Town
A view of Camps
Bay, Cape Town, facing south from the ascent to Lion's Head. The Twelve
Apostles are clear, as is the undeveloped coastline going towards
Llandudno. Looks like a nice joint. Wonder why David opted
for a penal colony? Golly some serious mountains surround Cape
Town. No wonder David is such a skinny bastard. |
Table Mountain is the home of the Himalayan
mountain goat called the Tahr which unfortunately is viewed by the locals
as a nuisance, so they have periodic shootings/cullings which one would
suspect the Tahrs don't fancy much. We protect our whales, they
shot their goats.
