Subject: Siggy's traditional Epic Ride Saturday January 9, 2016 Hi Epic Ride Starters List of intended starters: Liz, Lois, Arno, Bill, Chris, George, Jean, Kerry, Phil, Terry, Eric, Jane = 12 riders Starting time when and where: 6:30 am Rohini Street Turramurra Station car park Route: Turramurra Station car park - Bobbin Head - Galston Gorge -Berowra Waters - Cowan - Mt White - Calga - Mooney Mooney - Somersby - Freeway to Wyong / Yarramalong exit -Yarramalong - Bumble Hill - Peats Ridge - Calga - Mt White - Hornsby - Turramurra Station Distance: 207 km. For keen riders who want to go via Bobbin Head at the end about 215 km Lights: Bring front and rear lights in case of delays Main Train Stations on the way up: Hawkesbury, Gosford Main Train Stations on the way back: Hawkesbury, Hornsby Nosh Stops and (regrouping) Sag Stops: Pie in the Sky, Cowan. If still closed Mt White Warrior Cafe Yarramalong General Store which is our lunch stop Peats Ridge Cafe Mt White Warrior Cafe Carry enough food and water as between Mt White and Yarramalong there are no shops unless you ride a detour from Somersby to the Kariong Shell Garage or from Yarramalong / Wyong Freeway exit to Tuggerah Shopping Centre.
