Bank Teller's rap-up of Quatre Montagnes - 13 cyclists incl -

(i)        Matt aka Printer couldn't stop at Mt White 'cause he was late for church; and

(ii)       Wendy aka The Phantom who, despite lots of Muggs keeping an eye out for her at our Hornsby start at eight bells, actually rode from Hornsby a few mins later to Mt. White and upon arrival pondered "Are they Muggaccinos?"  But alas didn't pucker-up the temerity to ask us.  Wendy phoned Bank Teller yesterday arvo to inform that she enjoyed her first visit to Road Warriors Cafe, and with the value if hindsight, Wendy should have introduced herself.  If Wendy joins Muggs rides on a regular basis, we will soon transform this stately and polity femme into a bold 'n brazen hussy who doesn't take a backward step to anyone, in particular a bunch of unruly, scruffy exercise-conscious desperados who some can look like they couldn't find the cake of soap during their weekly tub.  However, they scrub up on cycle w'ends away at party time.

Jean aka ChiliDog arriving at Mt White after 73km cycling from Rozelle at sparrow fart and incl 13km out 'n back to Calga. They don't come tougher!!!

Scott and Paul at Mt White.  They took one look at the queue to buy coffee and hightailed it back to PitS.  Some buggers are hard to please.  Sunday is a day of rest 'n relaxation!!!

Scott, Paul 'n Jean heading back early

Scott aka PatternMaker in hot pursuit.  Scott alerted us post-ride at Hornsby that we won't see him to latish Sept due to non cycling commitments, incl 3 weeks with his family holidaying at South West Rocks, whereupon Scott aka PatternMaker  will be back to hound the front runners

BeanCounter from his best side

Arno aka The Kaiser, Harry aka KayakMan and Grant aka BeanCounter shooten' the breeze probably about not much important, which is what ya want to parle on a brill mid-Winter's morn' that remained frightfully chilly when you encountered shady patches

L to R above  -  Todd aka I.T. Nerd, Arno, Harry aka KayakMan, PacificPete 'n Rex aka MediaMan

Pete aka Campy Aficionado in his veritable heaven, 'cause Pete happened upon an English made Vincent Series C Cornet 1951 Motor Bike in lovingly restored "mint condition" which Pete would sell his wife in order to own (if he had one)

Above n below post-ride happy snaps at Hornsby carpark before Jean aka ChiliDog rode back to his Rozelle digs and the rest of us took the easy-out by jumping into our CO2 polluten' jalopies.  One hopes that when we finally cark it that the gate-keeper of the pearly gates, St Peter, doesn't have a Carbon Footprint Calculator reading on some of us, cause otherwise ChiliDog may the only Mugg who makes it into eternal cycling bliss
