Ø    Ride Organiser: Phil Johnston   9114.6689  0412 045 224

Ø    Hardcopy these directions and bring on Sunday

Ø    Click on: Risk Warnings which warns of the dangers of cycling on public roads with motor cars, potholes and over bridges with vertical timber planks with gaps

Ø    Cycling with Muggs is predicated upon notifying Bank Teller if you materially disagree with any clause(s) in Muggaccinos' "Ride Participants Liability Acknowledgment"

Ø    When boarding and alighting the Berowra Ferry, take particular care not to cycle over the metal rails on the cement ramps which can be very slippery

Ø    Don't ride two abreast on single lane roads with an unbroken centre line

Ø    Cycling without Public Liability cover is as silly as driving without 3rd Party property cover.  Join Bicycle NSW or Bike Vic for P.L. insurance, or upgrade your household policy to include P.L. beyond your front fence, so that all Muggs are better protected, 'cause if you cause a serious accident it could cost you upwards of $1m in P.L. claims by the injured 3rd party

Bank Teller's rap-up of St Ives, Whale Beach, returning via Palm Beach & Akuna Bay - 85km - 4 cyclists

Males mustn't luv their dear old mums, 'cause although our numbers were down heavily on last week, all 4 today were males - Tony aka Publican, John aka BakerBoy, PacificPete 'n BankTeller

Notwithstanding a forecast of coastal showers, the weather was at its best whilst we sipped on Lattes at Whale Beach Cafe from 9:20am after 34km, albeit John had clocked another 10km having cycled from Hornsby.

Publican took the short-cut back to St Ives 'cause he wanted to check out a bike on e-bay being sold from Maroubra.  The rest of us took-in Akuna Bay and that less than perfect road surface.  How can a recent resurface be done so poorly?  It is more lumpy after the resurface that before it, not to mention a zillion small stones to contend with.  What does it say about a roadworks when they need to display warning signs about the loose stones.

Notwithstanding the piss-fart job some shonkie road contractor recently did on the Akuna Bay roadway, all-in-all a good 85km workout with only two stops throughout.
