Muggaccinos.com    The Bullsheet

Sunday, 20 Jan, Somersby "Bellbirds" clockwise with 7km on F3:

*    7:00am from Hornsby    map      124km  ETR Hornsby 2:25pm

*    7:10am from Berowra   map      103km  ETR Berowra 2:10pm

All cyclists should target arriving at 8:30am at Road Warriors' Cafe, Mt. White for 1st Nosh Stop

Ø    Due to a section of the Old Pacific H'way still being closed following a road collapse last June, we will be cycling the F3 for 7km approx between Kariong and Calga Interchange

Ø    Ride Organiser: Phil Johnston   9114.6689  0412 045 224

Ø    Hardcopy these directions and bring on Sunday

Ø    Click on: Risk Warnings which warns of the dangers of cycling on public roads with motor cars, potholes and over bridges with vertical timber planks with gaps

Ø    Cycling with Muggs is predicated upon notifying Bank Teller if you materially disagree with any clause(s) in Muggaccinos' "Ride Participants Liability Acknowledgment"

Ø    Cycling without Public Liability cover is as silly as driving without 3rd Party - join Bicycle NSW for PL insurance, or upgrade your household policy to include PL beyond your front fence, so that all Muggs are better protected, 'cause if you cause a serious accident it could cost you upwards of $1m in PL claims by the injured 3rd party

Ø    When passing a fellow Mugg, always provide a metre clearance.  If you can't, or are passing on the inside, you MUST call out loudly eg. "passing inside tight" etc

Ø    Keep well to LHS of the road, don't ride two abreast on single lane roads with an unbroken centre line

Bank Teller's rap-up of Duffy's Forest, West Head, Sunrise Cafe Warriewood, Wakehurst Pky/Forest Way - 94km - 19 cyclists

A healthy team marshaled outside Terrey Hills Fruit Barn after 6.6 clicks.

One of the beaut things about cycling since La Niña is the constant evidence of lush, verdant greenery which wasn't the case for several years when El Niño was plaguing us.  Sheltering in the shade was popular along today's ride, 'cause it got powerful hot.

Gosh that lush greenery is grouse

Trevor and Mark aka LongHaul, as well as Ian and Elfi, joined us at the Sunrise Cafe Warriewood overlooking the majestic, shimmering Blue Pacific.

Matt aka Printer 'n Trevor aka Tornado weren't looken' at the Dicky Bird, so we did a "Take 2" below were one of 'em obliged.

Eric aka PapaBear is about to embark on a daunting challenge, namely to be the first and only cyclist to complete 13 consecutive 200km Audax Alpine Classics.

Eric has also climbed many of the famous climbs in the French Alps, Pyrénées, and in Switzerland as noted in Eric aka PapaBear .

Pic on RHS shows Eric, with the help of Elfi, wearing 2 helmets, 'cause the insecure sod likes leaving his own helmet on whilst most of us remove our lids when we Parle and Pig-Out at Nosh Stops.
